Class 58s heading for Valencia
9th December 2008

The Madrid-Valencia high speed line is finally becoming a reality with ex-UK class 58s operating Construction trains out of the Requena base towards Valencia. As of today track-laying has reached the Siete Aguas area, some 25 kms from the base and less than 50 kms from Valencia and it is all downhill now, from 2,400' to near sea level.
